Covid Protocol for in-person classes at Mountain Home Studio

There is always something held that needs to be moved, something that is so busy moving that needs to slow down, be listened to, be held.  The studio is a moving space, a holding space, a space for us to

   Sense

              Feel

                    Imagine

                                 Create

In the act of moving, making, and witnessing together,  we form a particular heightened quality of connection and belonging.

The Life Art Process® is an invitation, an offering, a road map.

Be Moved: This can refer to physical movement, such as migration and the shaping of identity through travel. It also deeply relates to being emotionally affected or inspired by something or someone, which is central to the human experience of connection and art.

Be Held: This phrase suggests a need for support, security, and care. It implies being emotionally or physically embraced by others or a community, feeling safe enough to be one’s authentic self, including the “darker parts”. It speaks to the trust found in relationships where vulnerability is encouraged.

Belong: This is described as a fundamental human need for connection, feeling at home in a place or a community, and being valued for one’s whole self. True belonging involves feeling fully accepted and an integral part of a system or group, not merely tolerated.
