Level 1 Personal Embodiment
Hybrid Training Programs
Required fees:
- $75 Non-refundable application fee
- $6000 Tuition: Includes $500 enrollment deposit ($175 non-refundable)
- $500 Early Registration discount (see Admissions page for dates)
- Approximately $50 for required art supplies: oil pastels (set of at least 36 colors recommended), 18″ x 24″ drawing pad – 100 sheets, and a journal
Optional Fees:
- $30 Daria Halprin’s book: The Expressive Body in Life, Art and Therapy; required reading prior to training; available from Amazon
- $15 book Anatomy: A Complete Guide for Artists by Joseph Sheppard; recommended reading; available from Amazon

- $100 Tamalpa Alumni Association (TAAS) lifetime membership; not included in the Tuition Fee.
Optional Fees:
- $150 Books/ Required Reading.

Payment Plans for Level 2 Hybrid Weekend 2026-2027
PLEASE NOTE FOR BOTH LEVEL 1 AND LEVEL 2:
- A $15 service fee will be charged for bank wire transfers.
- A 4% Service Fee will be charged for all Pay Pal and Credit Card transactions.
- There is a Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) fee charged to California residents attending our training programs. As of April 1, 2024, this fee is zero per $1000 of institutional fees charged rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. For additional information visit the BPPE website.
- A $15 fee will be charged for returned checks.
- Payment plans available upon request for Level 1 and Level 2 trainings.
