“Dance is the breath made visible.” — Anna Halprin
What happens when we allow the breath to become our teacher, our creative partner, and our guide?
Join us for three hours of exploration through breath, movement, creativity, and embodied inquiry. Together, we’ll deepen our relationship with the breath through experiential practices that weave together science, somatic awareness, expressive movement, and the creative arts.
As we listen more closely to the breath, we discover not only how it shapes the body, but how it can open pathways to imagination, emotion, expression, and connection. Through movement, drawing, writing, and reflection, we’ll explore the many ways breath speaks—sometimes as sensation, sometimes as image, sometimes as story, sometimes as a dance.
Grounded in the Tamalpa Life/Art Process, this workshop invites Breath as an intelligent guide, a creative muse, a trusted companion, and a gateway to the universal rhythms that move through us all.
14×18 paper and craypas pastels are needed.
