Join Tamalpa Core Faculty, Dr. Rosario Sammartino, and Admissions Officer, Amitis Rossoukh as they speak and responds to your questions about the structure and content of our Level 1 Weekend Hybrid Training Program in 2027-2028.  Join Rosario to get answers to your questions about the Tamalpa Life/Art process, all three levels of our professional training program, Tamalpa Practitioner Certification, professional registration with ISMETA, degree pathways, the ArtCorps scholarship program, and anything else you might want to know about our trainings. Amitis will answer any questions about the application process and forms.

 

Rosario Sammartino, an Argentinian woman with long brunette hair smilingDr. Rosario Sammartino is a leading therapist and educator in the intersecting fields of expressive arts, somatics and depth psychology. With twenty years of experience, her work explores the relationship between body, emotion and imagination. Rosario is a core faculty member of Tamalpa Institute, the internationally recognized training center for movement-based expressive arts therapy, where she trains an international student body. She is an adjunct professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS); as well as the founder of Anthropos Institute, an art and self-development Center located in Buenos Aires, the founder of Anthropos Argentina, where she is originally from. Rosario leads numerous lectures & workshops nationally and internationally. Amitis is a Bay Area-based actor and performance artist with a background in educational technology and community-focused arts outreach programming. With over a decade of professional experience in the non-profit sector, she has worked in both school settings and with older adults, blending her expertise as an IT professional, systems manager, community coordinator, and artist. Passionate about lifelong learning, Amitis has worked with individuals across generations—from adolescents to nonagenarians—fostering connections through technology, education, and the arts.
