Join Dr. Rosario Sammartino to experience how the Tamalpa Life/Art Process® can restore connection, awaken imagination, and open new pathways for healing trauma.
Trauma lives in the body –in our sensations, gestures, movements, and in our capacity to feel and imagine. Trauma narrows our ability to express, to feel alive, and to dream. Words alone are not enough to fully capture—or transform— these embodied experiences.
The Tamalpa Life/Art Process® offers a unique path to healing. By integrating movement, drawing, and creative writing, this approach invites us to speak the language of the body and give shape to what lies beneath the surface. Through creative exploration, participants learn to recognize and release held patterns, engage imagination as a resource, and rebuild connections with themselves and others.
In this workshop series, you will:
- Explore how trauma lives in the body and how arts and movement can support release, regulation, and renewal.
- Connect with the creative body as a resource for resilience, discovering new possibilities for expression and healing.
- Engage in guided individual explorations and group processes that foster connection and creativity.
This 3-hour workshop combines theory, practice, and artistic engagement, offering practical tools you can integrate into both personal and professional life.
Who is this for?
- Therapists, coaches, and educators who want to bring body-based and creative tools into their practice.
- Practitioners seeking new approaches to trauma beyond conventional talk therapy.
- Individuals longing to reconnect with their bodies, creativity, and sense of possibility.
Workshops are for ages 18+ only and disability access is not provided.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Registration will close 1 hour prior to the start time of the workshop.
REFUNDS will only be given if cancellation is received at least 48 hours before the start of the first class. Eventbrite’s registration and processing fees are non-refundable. No partial refunds or transfers available.
