How can we live our lives with more creativity? How can we make art with more meaning?
Tamalpa Dances invites you to dive into the internal landscape of your sensory body using guided somatic-based movement as a source for creative exploration and self-discovery. Further exploration will be developed using drawing and creative writing, enlivening the conversation between body, imagination, life experiences, and art-making. Each week we will explore a specific body part and movement metaphor to reveal the stories and mythology that live within.
No dance experience needed.
To get the most out of this online class, please prepare a comfortable space to move in with access to your online device. Also, have art supplies ready at hand for drawing activities, and paper and pen for journaling and creative writing exercises.
