Online Workshop: BADW The Creative Body with Natan Daskal

Connect with us on Zoom from anywhere in the world to remember your body, recapture your creativity and renew your spirit.

This class is part of the Bay Area Dance Week and is free of charge.

Saturday, May 2 | 10AM-11AM PST

You will receive a Zoom link to the class upon registration.
Join us as we follow and encourage the body’s innate creativity and expression through movement. Through guided movement exploration, we will use the Tamalpa Life/Art approach to dance and the expressive arts by exploring the relationship between the physical body, feelings, and imagination in meaningful ways that bridge our life experience with our art.
To get the most out of this online class, please prepare a comfortable space to move in with access to your online device. Also, have art supplies ready at hand for the drawing activity.

Natan Daksal’s background in theater, dance, design, fine arts, and environmental studies combine with his interests in architecture, social justice, and personal transformation to come together under Tamalpa Institute’s approach. Over the years Natan has also worked as a teaching assistant to Anna Halprin in her public workshops and classes. Natan studied ballet at the Joffrey School in New York City, received his BFA in Communication Design at Parsons the New School for Design, and is an MA candidate in Education at Goddard College. https://www.natandaskal.com/classes
