“How can movement express and renew your creativity for life and living? If your body could speak, what would it say?”
In the Tamalpa Life / Art Process, movement and life are intertwined. The body contains our lived experiences and movement is our primary language of expression. When we dance our lives, we connect with the creative forces that live within, and open to new ways of being.
In this introductory workshop, participants are introduced to the Tamalpa Life/Art Process; a movement-based expressive arts approach grounded in the wisdom of the body to creatively make meaning of our lives. Using movement, drawing, poetic writing, and improvisational performance, participants will tap into the creative language of art to explore personal life themes and generate resources for ongoing support and inspiration.
