If your movement could speak, what would it say? This class will introduce participants to the Tamalpa Life/Art Process. We’ll begin with Anna Halprin’s Movement Ritual that will take us into a movement exploration to ignite creativity and get in touch with the body. Drawing and/or creative writing will help us connect our movement to what’s alive now in our world, and harvest a few resources to take with us in our daily dance. No dance experience needed. Pre-registration required, maximum of 14 people.
Kaye Anderson, LCSW, is a Clinical Social Worker, graduate of the Tamalpa Institute’s Embodied Leadership Program, Tamalpa Practitioner, and Hoop-Dance teacher. Kaye has been leading dance classes and workshops for 10 years, and now uses the Tamalpa Life/Art Process in her clinical and supervisory/training work at JFK University’s Holistic Counseling Center.
